It's just the way us Clebs are...

Below is the email my sister sent me in light of this recent post.

Celeb mums say: Long hair on boys is OK!
14/05/2008 9:11:00 AM, CelebrityFIX Prev Next Looks like the latest trend for famous kids is long and luscious locks — even if you're a little boy!

Celebrity mums like Elle Macpherson, Kate Hudson and Cindy Crawford are all over the long-locked look, with their little boys all sporting tresses past their shoulders.

These cute little tykes look totally rock n' roll — we bet their shaggy look gets them all the girls in primary school!

Shaggy: Cindy Crawford with son Presley and daughter Kaya, and Kate Hudson with little Ryder

Long-haired beauties: Celine Dion and her son Rene — and Elle Macpherson with son Flynn

To which I say: Just add it to the list of things me and Elle have in common.

But seriously - we cut Fred's only three days ago. Admittedly it was only his fringe as Dave will not let us anywhere near the mullet. And to be honest, the cutting of the fridge involved a whole lot of mummy singing, mummy prancing, Play School (Dinosaur episode of course) and popcorn. For only a few little snips. I suspect a proper haircut for Fred at 2.5 is a bit of a pipe dream.
And if he does, I assure you, it's going to be a buzz cut. And Rocco's will get one as well Apparently. All questions of style are deferred to David (Beckham) in this household.

The Deal with Deal.

Deal is a small town on hte Kent coast which we've visited quite a few times now. It's within 1 1/2 hours Drive from London, has nice food and is pretty. And when you have 2 kids, simply jumping in the car is by far the easiest type of holiday you can have. Oh. And there is golf galore.

We decided very last minute to spend the last New Year in Deal - we booked late on xmas eve and arrived early boxing day for a week. I took a gazillion photos, too many to put in one blog. So here's a few from out and about the town of Deal. The weather was miserable, but we had an absolutely lovely week cooking dinners, drinking wine, watching movies and wrangling children. It was sweet.

Argh.

Well, it's been silent here for a while but I've been busy, busy. To the point where last night I stayed awake for far longer than I should have, worrying about all this things I should not have been thinking of. On the upside I've had my parents in town to help and distract, but I'm madly trying to organise something vaguely ok fo Dave's upcoming milestone birthday this weekend. On top of this we have had the somewhat bad (well, unexpected) news that our Landlord plans on selling the house and as of June 4 we will be needing to move. F.A.R.K. I think we had both thought that we would be here till we left for Oz, it is such a lovely, comfortable space to raise our boys. Plus it has the added bonus of a seperate flat to squirrel away the thousands of Aussie travellers and a nanny. Nightmare.

So no doubt I'm going to spend the next couple of weekd madly researching and viewing potential properties until.

Wish me luck.

Will blog more soon.

ps. Go Newcastle!
