Although Dave and I had our misgivings about hether or not Rich and Ray 'lost us' or 'gave us the slip', we proceeded with the present we had given them for Christmas - a meal out in Rome. No way tehy could escape our attention then. Not particularly inspired present, but perfect for the traveller. Both Ray and Rich cleaned their plate in gratitude.
